2D and 3D imagery by a fractal fanatic

This was an experiment in GIMP which I know very little about, but I do know it does really cool things with filters and deformations. Just wish I understood the layers better… Thought I would delve into there again and eventually, after further tweaking with Fractalius and TopazAdjust, I came up with this. The file name at the bottom of the screen said Rambis, I don’t know why, but I figure that title suits this image, since it is “fair to middling” and “okay” if not the greatest thing I ever made…

    • Thanks… I understand that back in the Seventies fractal art was the rage in clothing (not that this one is a fractal, it’s just abstract)…funny I don’t remember that…do you?
